I have a problem with InstallShield in XP?

Hello, my problem with InstallShield is that when I want to install a new program (a videogame, for example) the installation runs as usual until the end, that's when an error occurs and the program installs with errors (wav files missing, multiple crashes, unable to run program, registered in windoes registry but I'm unable to uninstall the program, etc), does anyone can help me with my problem? I don't know where to download a patch or a new version of InstallShield, please help me
