Can the park management of my mobile home park take my house for nonpayment of rent?
I have lived in a mobile home park for four and a half years and have been trying to sell for 2 of those years with no luck. Lately it has become more and more difficult to pay the ever increasing space rent and no one is even coming or calling about buying becasue of the space rent. I am just now trying to get the money together to pay off the rent and have my lease reinstated. Unfortunately after I pay that off, there will be no money for the next month's rent. What will likely happen is that I will get another 3 day notice and then a 60 day pay or quit notice. If it goes to court, I am told that the judge will just tell me I have to move out and I will lose my home. Is this true as far as anyone knows?
