Have you had more than 1 c-section?

For me it was somewhat more difficult as far as the scariness, because I knew what to expect and I wasnt looking forward to it. Seriously on the day I was scheduled for my 2nd C, I almost ran away from home, I was trying to convince myself that I could have the baby on my own, but reluctantly I went to the hospital because he was a 10 lb'der!!!! I was so scared that I started to go into natural labor from all the nerves, but once I got there and they inserted the cathedar (which I hated) it wasnt so bad the 2nd time and the pain management was easier. Once it was over, I compared and my 2nd one defintiely wasnt as painful. I knew this time, to sit up immediately after surgery to avoid the horrible gas pains and I brought my own laxitive instead of that colace crap which didnt do squat for me. Also I made sure this time to have belly support which made my recovery easier too. You'll be fine, I promise, just keep reminding yourself that it will be over soon and you get to see your baby.
