I was off of seasonel for a little over a week and then went to the nuva ring, was i protected?

I went off of seasonel for a little over a week because i hated the breakthrough bleeding and i wasnt doing good at remembering to take it. I had my period and then i started the nuva ring, i used not other protection. I just took it out to have my period yesterday..I havent started, but i know sometimesit takes a day or two. Has anyone had a similar experience? Do you think I was protected enough?
