Do you think this is another reason to stop illegal immigration?

This was in the news not too long ago......"Al-Qaida is stepping up its efforts to sneak terror operatives into the United States and has acquired most of the capabilities it needs to strike here, according to a new U.S. intelligence essment released today." Sounds like a good reason to stop illegal immigration to me. Let's kill two birds with one stone 1) illegals immigrants and 2) terrorists. Either way, illegal immigrants or terrorists, both groups bring harm to the U.S. I don't understand why the threat of a terrorist attack is not mentioned more often in conjunction with illegal immigration and defending our borders. They should be. The threat of terrorists illegally crossing our borders is another strong argument to stress and one more of the many significant reasons for stopping illegal immigration. Seems to me like defending our borders because of a terrorist threat has fallen to the wayside. Speak up about it more often. Thanks in advance!
