Can You tell me if shingles is contagious?

Yes it is. Shingles are usually caused from having chicken pox as a child although some adults contract chicken pox later in life, that too can follow with hives on the neck, face. Shingles are due to high amounts of stress etc. See you PC asap as there are antiboctics and creams to help lesson the shingles to aid in them going away, however once you have shingles they come back at anytime without notice. Mostly appearing on the lower torso of the body. Do not ch the sores, as they can spread to other parts of the body. Wash your hands do not share anything with anyone while infected, and clean your bathroom / toilet if you have them on the rear of your body as to not to infect another. Good luck. Sue
