Can anyone justify the Westboro Baptist Church's methods?

As a soldier and devout Christian (Baptist if you wish to know), I am shocked to investigate on the WBC and their methods. I never heard of them until I was searching protests against soldiers. I do not wish to protest, I was just curious. The things they do are truely scary. I do not support ity but I'll be damned if I have to witness a fellow soldier's funeral interupted because a selfish church wants to protest against what we do. Do they not realize that we fight and die for them to cry out against us? They are such hypocrites. They want everyone to die except for themselves? How about YOU go fight for your beliefs. YOU go fight the people overseas who want you dead for your beliefs. YOU go shed YOUR blood. Thank you Patriot Guard members and all of their supporters (like myself). Thank all the states who keep these people from disturbing the dead at what is the worst moment in some peoples lives. If my wife would have to experience something like that at my funeral, I would be so ashamed. How do you think they feel? What if people go protest YOUR funeral. I truely hope people from all over the country (i.e. families of fallen soldiers) protest Fred Phelp's funeral. Oh how bitter that would taste in his relatives mouths. This drives me crazy. God bless the troops and all of their families!
